Alright guys and gals,
Before you freak out, I did search search the forums and didn't really find what I was looking for.
I have been a member of the spocom world for about 8 years or so mostly dedicated to my CRX. Well, the time has come, and the wife wants to expand the family. The CRX was sold and now it is time to search for a 4 door tuner.
Please let me know what you think the best four door tuner is for around $10,000.
Now, there are a few stipulations, First, I would like the car to be 2000 or newer. Second, I don't think turbo is going to be an option (at least right now) because of the premium fuel situation, so that gets rid of the WRX, the EVO, and the SRT-4 Neon (although it would be a miracle to find an evo for 10,000). I also want something that is pretty well supported by the aftermarket, and I have no problems with engine swaps, done a couple with no problems...
The car will be a daily driver set up for the street, so dependability is a key feature.
So... Let me know what you think!

That's easy a Toyota Matrix... Most people forget they exist. They're reliable, because it has a Toyota badge, there's aftermaker parts, and you can fit the whole expanding family.
There's a project car on this magazine on that particular vehicle if you're interested, though there's not a lot of segments. Considering the price of gas now-a-days projects like that should come about again...
The "cheapo" travel station gas is now about $4.00 depending on the week. Average is $3.89 (wow .11 cents away from $4 what a difference .)
