For the 4 disc brake get the master cylinder rear discs and calipers of a DOHC model or possibly an SRT model Then just pay someone to instal them..  200hp out of an SOHC that's gonna be hard to do specially on N/A.  To get HP out of an N/A engine you have to crank up the revs but that mean loosing torque down low so try ghetto fabbing a Turbo setup got to an exhaust shop and tell them to make you a turbo manifold, then go to a junkyard and find an old beat up 80's mercedes, volvo, audii  diesel and take the turbo out of it ( oil lines too.) Then next thing is piping a B.O.V., intercooler and sending your ECU to  RC or superchips or any ECU recalibrating company and tell them what you're doing with your hard earned cash.  Most people dismis turbos as a gimick and say N/A is better and to a point they're right, but a well calibrated turbo setup will give you torque down low and hp up high. Mind you a mercedes turbodisel comes with a Garret T3 turbo that spools up at 55 MPH so.... The decision is yours.

Don't forget to do a re-ring rebuild which will cost you about 1,000 to 1,500 dollars or you can do it yourself all you need is a tool set, a 30 dllr cylinder hone, a3/8th's drill and nerves of steel.

I've seen an old guy do it with the engine still in the car, so that means I can do it cuz I'm awesome LOL.

yeah i know u can get some thing like 290hp out of the SOHC with a turbo kit from Han raceraft but and i know that the SOHC came with 132Hp at 6000rpm and 125 lbs of torque at 5500rpm from the factory at the crank would  doing head work add like 30hp and i was going to put in a cam and a race style header and a 2.5in exhaust with a randomtechnologies high flow cat but idk how much hp i can expect from these upgrades

well if you get the head work the headers and the exhaust that'll be close to or about 170 175 respectively. Get a Cold air intake that goes on the bottom of the engine and your looking about 179-180hp. Recalibrated ECU to take advantage of the upgrades you did plus the headwork and that ammounts to about 186. With the cams 190. Hey you did your homework homeboy! LOL everywhere I work there's this old "cholo" ganster who speaks like that. I love it.

That'll cost about 4-5k with the mandatory engine rebuild if you gonna redo the heads why leave the engine old and rusting. Remember replace all these sensors: (all that I can remember anyways.) MAF, (if aplicable) MAP, EGR, water temp, O2.  They control the amount of gas that is distributed your car is more than 10 years old so I suggest you replace them. Don't worry for now if one of them fails the ECU will just override and go by the O2, but it helps having everything on the "nominal"

i was also thinking of puting dome pistons and a polishes throtle body and possiabally an newer style DIS system that has one coil per cylinder too and then after i get all of this work done im probally going to do my suspension just like the project car neon wich i found out is going to cost me like $1907 without the strut braces which i cannot find the ones that they used in the build up

also i replaced almost all of the sensors in my engine because i had a bad ECU that threw like 4 diff codes saying that like 4 sensors have gone out so i replaced every thing but my oil pressure sensor and my oil temp sensor so i dont think that i need to replace the sensors but it probally would help to do it again tho i did end up replacing my ECU tho which was expensine
