For those informed, there's always been various trims of the Nissan Skyline and finally the spy shots for the new Spec V have been released from AutoBlog.

If the GTR in its base trim is already faster than the $495,000 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren around Nurburgring, I can't help but wonder how fast the Spec V would be and for how much. Personally, I hope Honda and Toyota release their challengers soon because the spotlight has been on Nissan for too long now.

What road is that in your avatar? I'm living in Orange County for school and there really isn't anything I miss more than the secluded twisties I'd often visit back home.

MY question is it just a tad too late? Has the scene faded past the whole GTR thing? Thoughts?
