It's not a car, its just porn.. Pure automotive smut.. A 500HP, 10,000 RPM, 40-valve supercharged 2.4 V8 in a road-legal Atom... And the car only weighs 1,100 lbs, just 100 more then the Atom 300. You better wear a jock-strap in this thing because it will rip your balls right off.. On any side of the traction circle!

Can we say ludicrous speed? No other way to put it. The first thing that struck me when looking at the pic of the Atom 500 was the modesty of tire and wheel size. There has to be some very serious aero tuning to keep that thing planted to the road, and you can see it in the rear wing but it' far less obvious out front and elsewhere. Amazing engineering. I have to wonder who manufactures that 2.4 V8, but I'd guess Cosworth first. I really believe that machine would make me cry at my own incompetence as a driver/pilot.

It is actually the same Russell Savory (RS Performance) motor that is in the new Caterham RS Levante. Freakin British, building there handbaskets that take you straight to hell.

Performance? It's an Ariel Atom, of course it's got "performance". Plus, just look at its power-to-weight ratio. Kick-ass...
