anyone have any good winter tires they want to recommend? I'm picking up a spare set of wheels to mount them on so I have a spare set strictly for snow. I'll be going to the mountains a lot this winter for snowboarding and my Falken Azenis 615s arent exactly good in any sort of bad weather, lol.
I've never had to look into snow tires living in SoCal, but my trips last season to Mammoth Mountain left me needing more traction in my WRX. Since they will be a spare set, they need to be strictly badass snow tires. I plan on romping around ![]()
any suggestions?

I'v heard good about the Blizzaks. 16's should run you $75 ish a pop. Or if you wanna have fun on your way up the back-road to mthigh, get some ice-racing spiked tires haha!
BTW, you go to mthigh or bear or regularly?

The Blizzaks are very good and I have had very good luck with Nokian tires as well. Almost half the people I knew in Fairbanks AK, where I grew up used them, though they might be harder to find in So Cal.
