I wrote a thread a while back about the new big 3 in the auto world. The Mitsubishi Lancer EVO, The Subaru WRX STI, and Nissan 350Z. In the old days our dads would talk about the Mustang, Camaro, and Charger and whihch one was better, so now I ask if you could pick or vote in this case for the best of the 3. which one?
Please indicate if you own any of the three to see if the're is some conflict of interest on future judgement.
I own the Z
I pick the WRX STI for its robustness and its ingenuity on the Boxter engine. You can't beat that, though its weakneseses come to the heat diffusion on the engine bay its still a good rounded car.

well i think i might pick the list a little differently if we are talking about 2000 and up model years. But I'll go with the evo any day. It's a little more nimble, no matter that it makes a little less power. And I just like the styling more. I've driven the evo, but not the sti, so i really don't have a huge basis for comparison.

Toughie, but I gotta say Evo. I used to say that Evo's were grossly overrated, but my views have changed. There is more to a driving experience than objective performance. Having recently driven a (rich) friend's 05 MR, I must say that it is a thrill no matter how fast you are going. The car is so agile, and I now know why SCC praises the steering so. The WRX comes in second because of the looks. Shallow as it sounds, I would take an 01-03 or 06-07 Impreza just because of the front end. I am one of the few who likes it. The Z is last because of the two doors and lack of all-wheel drive. Drawback city. Sorry Master Shake.
