The thing with the windows is that there is an issue with the tint rubbing on the inner molding of the window. The smartest thing that I did was get the in-house shop at the dealership to slap on some tint and now everytime I have new scrathes or flaws I get it fixed for free (plus the add this little strip of felt to keep it from rubbing), and don't have to deal with all the extra drama. Yes it's not the darkest tint in the world but it does the job and still looks nice, plus it keeps the cops from bugging you about being darker than legal.
I haven't quite decided on which intake or axle-back exhaust to get but I do know that all you need is an axle-back. Don't blow money on a full exhaust because you will just end up switching the same size tubing for a shiny, new one. I have a few more weeks to decide and I'll let you know after spring break with any pros or cons.

Hey, you can get an Injen SP Series cold air intake on www.autoanything.com for $311.95 and free shipping. I know it comes in polished stainless, but I think you can get it in powder-coated black.

I'm sure that it will because if you ever looked @ the underside of the Evo X its seperated near the rear axle. It may take some adjustment to get it to fit right, plus it will look off unless you get a different rear bumper (or cut-away from your stock bumper) because the stock bumpers were meant for only the single exhuast (the single cut away piece for the stock exhaust)... But to tell you what I personally think the single pipe will serve better if your going for performance because it's a straight shot out rather than the dual exhaust being diverted halfway through the piping. If you're going for show then there shouldn't be much issues with getting a dual exhaust except for that you will have to get one custom-made to fit because I believe the Evo has a 3.0 or 3.5 exhaust pipe than the 2.5 that comes on the Lancer.

Have you got the cold-air intake?!? Where I live the cold-air would serve no purpose due to altitude, weather conditions, and many other factors around here but if it works for you then you could try it. There is a Fujita on ebaymotors or RRM has a short-ram. All it takes is looking around online for a bit but either way I haven't heard a complaint about any intakes yet.

Hi everyone, i am completely new to the realm of car mods. I have a Lancer 08 and am looking to mod the interface used for the MP3 and GPS etc. Anyone know how to go about figuring out what system requirements are used? Any specs on precessing power etc? I haven't seen any software tech threads yet so any pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, was wondering if any of you can suggest a cold air intake that would be good for the 4b11 or the new lancer 08. one that would sound cool and maybe have a slight gain in hp. thanks!
