Ok, i have been installing tonnes of parts on my car and am just wondering if someone out there has turboed this car and was they recommend for settings for the tuning. I DO realize there are tonnes of variables based on the parts used. SO here goes.
B16A3 motor garrett T3/T4 turbo Blaster 2 coil MSD blaster cap 10MM wires Iridium plugs Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump Fuel pressure Reg. 370cc injectors turbo XS wastegate 6.8 psi HKS sequential BOV Stage 2 clutch 3" downpipe 2.75" highflow cat 2.5" cat back stainless tsunami 4 into 1 header 10" x 28" intercooler Had adjustable cam gears but they were the wrong size too big for b16 even though thats what i ordered. ECU chipped by Phearable,<- told them ot chip my car based on this part list.
My question is what do people with tuning experience recommend for tuning this car, i understand that i really need to get cam gears to address the exhaust valves to prevent scavengering but i mean what else ???... and can i run higher boost on my stock internals?? say 10 psi? for a reliable car?

on stock internals yes but only for a month or two if you go out racing once and a while. But listen what crwyatt says.

sooooo i just went to take my car out to see if its making any funny noise, and if the HKS ( fake ) works... sure enough when i rev the motor from under the engine bay it holds pressure until i let off the throttle, then i can feel it release. so i retarded my timing a little more to make sure, put the fuel pressure reg to 42psi, then hopped in the car and the friggen car doesnt even create boost!!!!!! soooooo pissed. i had a cheesy RFL blow off valve before and it was able allow the system to charge and work, but i heard this style worked better, so i sold it for like 10 bucks.. and bought this P. O . S. is it just me has anyone else had success with an HKS or HKS fake at low PSI boost with a big t3/t4 turbo?? any advice on what bov works on a B16A2 /3 would be great.
