Of course if your father is intent on you getting a boring 4 door.. try a Subaru RS or outback or if the Hyundai was to your liking, the Elantra is on the same floorplan

Man, I've been suffering with my Tiburon for almost five years now and I think I'm finally at the end of this long road. First thing, first year I owned it, not even six months old, the front right caliper freezes up solid. It took the dealer over 3 months to get a new one, no free rental car either. Good thing I have a truck or I'd have been totally screwed. Same as now, some crankshaft sensor doesn't work anymore cuz a tooth broke off the crankshaft. The shop pulled the trans to work on it and now they say they can't fix it. The engine only has 60K! and now it looks like I have to get a used one from ebay if i wanna keep it. In short, stay the hell away from tiburons! lol I think I'm gonna go check out cobalts. If I get a stick even the ss gets like 36 miles to the gallon, Not bad. And my girlfriend thinks they're hot, she wants to be paris hilton I think lol. Good luck with your search, later!

Meh...my wife had an 05 Tiburon 4-banger. Thing was slow as balls but a decent looking car.
Interior quality was pretty impressive for a Korean though.
