I just wanted to see how everyone else gets around. So I wanted to ask a few questions.
What car do you own? What car do you hope to own if you don't own one yet?
How much in mods do you have on it, if you do have a car?
Where do you work?
How old are you?
1) As for me, I have no car yet. I hope to get a VW Golf/Jetta with the 1.8t engine. If not that, I might go the "more miles per gallon route," and get a Toyota Yaris. TRD already has parts for it.
2) I don't have a car yet, so that says it all.
3) I work at a grocery store, saving up money for my first car.
4) I am seventeen years old. I take autotech in highschool and am doing well in it.

1.) I own a 2002 Celica GTS, N/A, but very powerful nonetheless due to "extensive N/A modifications" quote: the cop who pulled me over a week ago for a broken taillight (which i don't know what happened to, the car was in a parking lot, and someone smashed the light, bulb and all). My dream car is a 1998 supra TT stickshift with rock hard suspension, big fat sticky tires, and about 800 pounds magically shaved off. it would be an all-road beast! 2.modifications include exedy clutch, AEM intake, TRD catback exhaust, recent ECU tuning, etc. Handling numbers are created by my BFgoodrich G-Force T/A KD tires, and my adjustable Tein coilovers. If i get going too fast, my brembo big brake kit will slow me down. You asked me to brag, so i bragged. 3. i'm currently unemployed, got fired a couple weeks ago, having trouble paying for my car, or my ticket. I got an interview tomorrow at the Charthouse (ritzy seafood restaurant in Cardiff) I talked to one of the waiters there, he said he makes twenty bucks an hour and he's only been there a few months, it's great! 4. I'm 27 years old.

I have two: A VERY heavily modified '93 MR2 Turbo (405+WHP)and a mildly modified '03 VW Golf.

In the Mr2, I've probably got at the very least... $20k; for the Golf, somewhere around $2k. Don't make me think of this.. it makes me want to cry. ![]()

Currently, I am 31 but will turn 32 in October.
Speed and power are a mix of mostly three factors: money, motivation, and time. How fast do you want to go and how broke do you want to be when you get there?

That's pretty much how it is anywhere. Education, as important as it is, is one of (if not the most) the least paying but most important jobs out there. It's a shame, really.

K20 in a Fit? That sounds awesome. That thing would be sick fast. :-) I'm glad someone is into the b class cars like me. I just like the styling of the Yaris more though from the factory.

1) I own a beater 1992 Nissan 240SX coupe. The sticker will expire in May and there's no way to make it emissions legal in time, so I plan on selling the beater when the sticker expires and replacing it with a S13 stick-shift coupe or fastback (hopefully. 240's are rare around here and the hype is slowly driving prices up).
2) Ermm, if a new alternator and NGK spark plugs and wires count, then yeah, it's modified.
3) I work at a department store. I sell shoes on commission (the job is stressful, but the pay's good).
4) I'm 20 and currently in college. College bills and the beater's repair bills are sapping some of my new car money. The new job in shoes is helping alleviate that, though.

I drive a 2002 BMW 325ci. I love my car and dont plan on selling it ever, but if I get a better paying job I'd like to buy an older car such as an AE86 as a track car.
I dont have any mods as of now but a Racing Dynamics intake and an underdrive pulley is in the mail (cant wait till they get here!).
I work at an Ice Arena. The pay is crap but I get alot of hours and the work can but fun as hell lol. I'll be quiting at the end of my school year however to help my parents out at their work.
I am 16 (turning 17 in June) and am planning to take an Autotech class at Miami Lakes Technical school over the summer.
