i decided as an answer to all the bad (F&F) films that i am going to write a scrip of how the tuning world really is, it will be fiction of course but it will in tale everything that i know to the best of my abilities, it will follow a guy and how he breaks into the tuning world, he will drive a civic(i had to use an underdog) and i will deiced later what struggle to put him through. what do you guys think? something maybe kinda like initial d but more American.

Sounds coolbut writing is hard as hell. I've tryed to do some stuff like that but its just so hard to stick with it...or maybe I just have ADD. Stick with it then and put F&F to shame.

here is the first page:
FADE IN: INT. IAN’S ROOM – DAY An alarm clock ringing. It’s dark with slight sunlight coming in through the blinds. IAN (VO) My name is Ian Freeman and this is my story. At first you might not think its anything special but be prepared for some surprises. Ian shuts off alarm clock. The phone rings. IAN (groggy) Hello? LASZLO (OS) Yo Ian what the hell are you doing, you’re late. IAN Shit Laz, can’t you ever just leave me alone. LASLO (OS) No, now get your ass up we’re waiting. IAN All right, I’ll be there in 10 minutes. Ian gets up, sits on the side of the bed looking around. He gets up grabs a shirt off the chair, puts it on. INT. IAN’S GARAGE – DARK Ian walks in, turns on the light. He stands at the top of the stoop looking at his car. The car is a highly modified Honda Civic. Ian walks over opens the door, gets it. He takes the key and starts the car. The car starts with a slight rev. He pushes the garage door opener button and backs out.

here's my two cents: a civic would be a little too typical, why not use something more along the lines of an '87 celica supra, or an older galant VR-4, or similar?

just make sure you put something in there for me it was on here a couple years ago but the myth goes like this a guy in an mr2 was running from the cops so he goes to the local street races and the cops find him there so they try to arrest the guy and he swears up and down it wasn't him so the cop goes feel the HOOD and it's cold so they let him go

Im not really a fan of a movie of somebody telling their story but i could work if you set up the story right. And i like the Civic as the main car in the story, but i think you can go into more detail about the car.

ok i changed the story and added a lot of info on, what do you think now:
BLACK SCREEN: WRITTEN: LONDON, ENGLAND FADE IN: EXT. DOWNTOWN LONDON –DAY- ESTABLISHING Traffic is busy it’s a Monday morning and everyone is trying to get to work. The sky is slightly over cast it might rain. EXT. APARTMENT BUILDING –DAY- ESTABLISHING People are walking by, some with dogs, and others with briefcases chatting on cell phones. We slide by a car parked on the side of the road, it’s a Honda Civic. It looks highly modified. Even though it has an understated look we can tell that it has one purpose, to go fast.
INT. IAN’S ROOM –DAY- DIMLY LIT An alarm clock is ringing. There is a laptop on the desk with car pictures flashing on the screen. There are books and car manuals strewn about. It’s dark with slight sunlight coming in through the blinds. Ian shuts off alarm clock; he lays there staring at the ceiling. IAN (VO) My name is Ian Freeman and this is my story. I am what some people refer to as a street racer, even a renegade though I don’t think of myself as one. I was born in the US, but moved to the UK for a little escape. The events the follow are going to show you the true underworld of street racing and the tuners life. The phone rings, he rolls over and picks it up.

the reason why i told you to put it in is because it actually maybe true and if you know how things work in the real world you should be able to write a good story but the problem is going to be trying to get a producer and a director hollywood doesn't want to make a movie about the real tuner scene for some strange reason they think it's about drugs and *** but it's about busting your ass at taco bell or doing brake jobs and engine swaps making as much as you can to make a fast car i been in the scene for a while now and i only came across 2 guys that sold drugs to soup up their car and all they had was junk but they thought their car was fast then i showed them what a little know how a little pride and joy and a whole lot of blood sweat and tears can do

well its going to have some real life things but its also going to have some fantasy, it will not sell if its too real.

but whats the point of making a real movie if it isn't really real??????????whats the point of making a tuner movie if it has a lot of *** in it?they made a movie like that it sold like crazy but it really really pissed the real tuners off please civicking make this movie as real as possible if it doesn't sell oh well you can get an underground film maker to buy it
