the xj and the 110 by to days stands are not super cars, they are not flashy enough the xj is about 4 cylinders to low and the 110 i'm talking about when it first came out not the newer ones.

who says a supercar needs to be flashy? I do not consider the Ferrari 612 or even the new 599 flashy.. they are clean and rather demure beside say the enzo or the Porsche Carrera.
As for the 275. Any car with 300hp and a top speed around 170mph qualifies as a supercar.. that one made in 1966 can do it is only icing on the cake.

I think an STI, like the one Perrin built, with a turbo version the B9's flat-six would be freakin sweet. That, and a larger version of the Elise (think superlight 911-fighter) are at the top of my list.

I never thought of a skyline being a super car. When i think of super cars i think of Ferrari, or Lamberghinis, not Nissans.

Nah, when I said no super cars, I ment like no cars that cost as much as a house, and approaches or crosses the 200 mph mark (170-180ish and up). I mean, you can interpret this how you want, like I dont cosider vintage Hemi Baracudas as a supercar but they do cost well over 100-200 grand. Then again, I dont consider the Corvette as a supercar and that does about 170-80 I believe. The XJ220 is a super car. Damn thing does well over 200 mph, 6-cylinder or not. And Nissan does make super cars, the Nissan R390 is a perfect example of one. Now the new Skyline is up for interpretation cause I personally find it hard to call a skyline a supercar.
I just meant a dream car that that will be unique to you, makes you lose sleep over, and doesn't cost as much as the total net pay you'll earn in a lifetime.

Well, I'd like a 1985-87 toyota corolla GT-S AE86, or a late 80's toyota MR2 that are modded mildly for descent power and clean looks. Nothing crazy, just something that relaxes the soul.

I guess I'll be the lame-o and step into the "no Lambos" trap...
I'd love to own a '76-'79 Lamborghini Silhouette. It was a marvelously shaped car and still looks awesome to this day.
Speed and power are a mix of mostly three factors: money, motivation, and time. How fast do you want to go and how broke do you want to be when you get there?

High-performance: something that performes better than the norm.
Sports car: a flashy car that the average joe doesn't buy for the family cause.

It's like automotive sex, isn't it? Such a beautiful shape. I remember the first time I saw it.. as a Testors model. Then I actually got to see one (and hear it) at a Barrett-Jackson auction when I was still living in PHX. Wow.
