Ok, youre gonna think I am smoking crack when I say this, trust me, I am ONLY drunk. My dream car would be a bullet proof, 400hp, KLZE J-Spec motor, Tein suspension, EDFC, short throw shifter, 6 point roll cage, sparco seats/ harnesses, no carpets or back seats, stock body, and the 17" wheels from a Mazda Millenia S( sleeper here), PLUS, a carbon roof, hood, and trunk lid would help with the center of gravity. Perhaps a Borla exhaust as well. Oh and the limited slip from the Japanese market.

you might not be smoking crack...but with enough money you'd be smoking tires like crazy.
you forgot something :P
how about a full suspension overhaul, and a plan to increase the rigidity by say...5 times over?
with that much power you'd need it.

Me? Introduce my anthracite metallic Integra GS-R to force induction, 16inch black rims, big shinny brakes so that my black rims don't look like spares, lowered and stiffened. Then for when I don't need the trunk space, a black on black Caterham Super 7. Light enough to get me to work with at least 40mpg.

My new dream car is now a Lexus LS460L with a roots-type supercharger. Thats pretty much all I'd need, its fast, comfy, and looks really cool, plus has amazing sleeper status. Indeed.

While I'm not exactly sure what I would define as my dream car, I do have one idea. A Nissan 240SX S14 (maybe a '96) with a RB25DET engine swap from Syko Performance. After that, get a better radiator and get the AC running again. Install a somewhat larger-than-factory sound system (nothing too crazy), a short-shifter kit, Bride seats (designed for the street), Fidanza clutch kit (if I feel the need), and a Blitz 3" exhaust. Put it on a Tein Super Street suspension kit, and add some sway bars, anti-roll bars, and the like. Get a big brake kit. Finish it off with some good rubber and lightweight wheels. Don't know about the color of the car, though. Oh yeah, and I'll give you the reason of why exactly it's not my dream car: I want the connections high enough that it'll be CARB exempt. Stupid, I know, but it's not like I'm going to die an unhappy man if I never get an RB25-equipped S14.

when I was a kid, I loved the Lamborghini Countach and the Ferarri F40. In high school, I wanted a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado covertible. Right now, I'd love to have an E36 BMW 325i, and do a few mods to it. WHen the magazine started their project, I fell in love with that car.

Well let's see I'd start with what I already own and put a turbo and intercooler on my '99 Olds Alero put some Eibach springs or maybe even find some way to put coilovers all the way around . Add a 5 speed manual tranny in it and go scare some people . lol

I'd love to build up a Pontiac Astre, (cousin to the Chevy Vega), with the drivetrain from a Solstice GXP. That would be pretty unsuspecting. An ugly lil duckling with a 300hp+ motor!!!

I know its not the best supercar or the flashiest but I'd pick the Ford GT the one they used to make a few years back...That or a Pagani Zonda...

back when I first started reading SCC, I was about 17, and I wanted a VW Golf VR6. I used to love when nopi had the big two-page adds, and I used to make a check-list of all the stuff I'd wanna get for my dream car. Then I'd scope out all the momo rims and accesories.

My dream car would an EK9 either 96 or 97 CX Hatchback. I would not want any thing fancey just a K24 with a TSX type R transmission. I would just keep it clean with a simply White and Yellow paint job and have a subtle JDM outside apperence. Then I would simply like to have an 89 FC3S I personally think that rotary engines are very under rated.

One of my dream cars would be to build a mid engined Honda Del Sol, using a H22A from a Type SH Prelude.

Another would be a Mid Engined '90 Civic that was powered by an Accord V6, similar to the Renault Clio and Ford Festiva SHOGUN.

I love the idea of an old car with modern technology. So I'd love to take an ugly duckling like the Pontiac Astre, (cousin to the Chevy Vega), and drop in the running gear from a Solstice GXP.

Or in tradition of the SHOGUN, taking the last generation SHO Taurus V8, and stuffing it midship on a Ford Focus to build a modern SHOGUN
