The reason I mentioned Fast and Furious 3 is because it's going to be all about drifting...and you can most certainly bet it'll have 240s in it, if it's not one of the main vehicles.

Great, just great... they'll probably overkill the AE86, too.

I'm sure they will cliche any car they can. I just hope it doesn;t get corporate like 2F2F was.

Did I mention a GTO won drifting this year? American Muscle (or should I say Australian) was made for it.

You know what I am going to recomend.  Why not look to BMW for your answers.  An E30 323 or 325, or an E36 325 or 328 would be good.  You can pick up an E36 328 pretty cheap now.  It comes stock with 193 hp, same as the 325, but loads more torque.  A chip upgrade, exhaust and intake will get you over 220.  If you opt for forced induction, Bavarian autosport has a bolt on kit that will meet all your requirements and exceed them.  If you know at least a little bit about a wrench you can install the kit with minimal assistance and is streetable enough to use as a daily driver.  The aftermarket support is steadilly increasing for these cars also.  Just don't buy one and rice it, I will hunt you down! J/K!!, oh wait, no, I wasn't!!!

The gen 2 rx7's were nice too.  They handle great, and the tubo version would have plenty of power for you.  I have owner a gen 1 turbo, and a gen 2 turbo, loved them both.  To bad they both ended up under guard rails.  I was young and stupid back then though.  I've grown up a whole lot since then!!

Whatever you chose, keep us informed!

I haven't seen any AE86s around here, although I do live in the frozen North where RWDs aren't popular. I saw something on G4 On-Demand about some AE86s in California and from what I saw, they haven't contracted the F&F disease yet. Most of the guys just like drifting them and bashing S13 drivers (on one guy's T-shirt: 86 > 13). SR-5 owners swap in the 4G engine and suspension parts from the GT-S and the only visual mods I saw were JDM Trueno and Levin conversions. No crazy paint jobs, either, although there is some ICE overload here and there.

This is off the sub but it's about cars.  I really like the Chevy Cobalt SS super charged.  It looks good and it's cheap.
