well so far this new board kinda sucks, and kinda sucks in the sense that you can do more in the SS board, as in post in all the areas, not have us blocked form posting in the general forum. what the *** is is going on? If the moderator job is too hard to handle or whoever is in charge can't do it then let some of us regulars have the power to keep the board under control, as you can see we have been doing for the last 2 years so i don't see a problem from now on. next can you fix the "instant ubb codes" and "instant graemlins" because they don't work and also can you add more space to the signature because there is barely any and i can't even fit the link for my pic on there. that's it for now, when i come across more broken thins I'll let you know or someone else can add to my post.

Dont worry about Gremlins. Its a new board and it'll pick up steam as soon as people start coming back. Hopefully they'll relinquish power to the forumgoers, but I cant see that happening (no special reason, though)

true.. out of all the boards run by Primedia.. the OLD SCC board was one of the best self moderated ones. Why do we need this kind of "babysitting?"

They won't relinquish any power to us. I asked them that a while back and they replied with "corporate employees" and what not. So, we'll just have to hope and pray for the best.
Speed and power are a mix of mostly three factors: money, motivation, and time. How fast do you want to go and how broke do you want to be when you get there?

I am beginning to think they killed this board. When it first came online, I made a post about my new fiat spider I picked up in the General section... and it is STILL not up! What is the point of having a moderated section if the Moderator is not doing anything?

First, the new board will improve if everyone stops complaining. I want to say that before I started reading SCC, I wanted a Camaro! Can you believe I wanted a lo-tech piece like that? I always thought tuners were about stereos and monitors. Now I think a 4-banger from Nissan is better than almost anything Detroit came up with(Damn you, Ralph Nader!!). Anyone reads this and has something positive to say, or any advice for someone breaking out into the scene, please post a reply!
