With GM's pathetic comeback to Sport compacts on its Cobalt series after decades of the demeaning if not stupifying Cavalier should GM bring back Buick's Grand National? Should people comment this to their local GM dealership with molotov's flying? (too much?) and if so what would the reincarnate Grand national be like 2dr-4?, looks, what should it have, engine, and what upgrades does it need to bring back the love of cars at GM. Bring an end to the Esuvee! I love those comercials.

personally i know GM DOESN'T HAVE THE cahoneies to bring the GNX back WHY: two simple FACTS: ONE: LAWYERS.........nuff said TWO: liability they don't want people coming back and saying they made a car that has much more power than they can handle personally thats not saying much about the people that buy strictly GM BUT ford and dodge aren't doing much better

Well, if GM does bring back the GNX, it wont be under a buick badge and it wont be anytime soon. They're heading down the crapper as we speak.

What would a new Grand National be based on? The GN was based on the Regal T-Type, which was already a cool, sporty, rear-wheel drive semi-luxury car. Same for the Grand Sport/GSX of 1970. It would only be cool if they did it on the new Zeta platform that has the new Holden and Camaro. And it would have to be black.

what about the 300 SRT8? that makes, what, 400 Horses? and dodge is supposedly bringing back the gas guzzling challenger which should have just south of 500 horses, plus GM already re-made the shelby GT500 under ford, with 503 horsepower. knowing american sports cars, they probably have the torque to match as well. if you can't handle the car, you don't buy it, so why wouldn't they bring back the GNX?

Maybe I am just showing my age.. but does it bother anybody else that today's family cars now have more horsepower than yesterday's Muscle cars?
Does anybody really need 400hp in their daily driver?
