Around the beautifull town where I live Anthony New Mexico a lot of people from the high school started I don't know what to say on this "Pimp"? their cavaliers. When You pass by you see from a 91' w/ a abig *** muffler, a 95' with a wing and big rims to a 98 with a weird body kit and chrome rims. Why? I've never driven a cavalier, but from the painted drum brakes in the back I think its starting into some type of phase on the yungins' Any comments?

Cavaliers are useless.  They're cheap, though, and theres alot of ricer parts for them.  Hence the "pimp" thing going on

the J bodies have a big cult following. My mom is still driving her 94 Sunbird.. that thing has 105,000 miles on it and finally failed inspection.. for a hole in the headlight from a rock

The cavalier and all other j body cars rolled into the world knowing they were almost mediocre and doomed to be driven by downs syndrome humans. The steering was always numb and over boosted and the clutch uptake vague and too much like slowly stepping into a heap of butter. Every aspect of driving feedback feels like its been insulated with odd quantities of jello, styrofoam and balsa wood.
anyone who throws on superficial body kits and mufflers or bling wheels before first realizing they drive a 3 legged dog of a car is probably driving a cavalier.
I hate the j-body so much and every ignorant mofo who bought one that Im currently writing a book called " you might be j-body driver if"

Sunbirds were actually really good and they look funky too.  I'd still prefer a supra to one any day

I've never ridden in a Sunbird, but Grand Ams are second here to the Crap-alier. The neon is in close third though. Yep all with wings and loud exhausts...yep...don't forget the lights under the car too.

sorry i didn't read the post on the grand am and the neon ...around here grand ams run rampant i seen one with a full body kit and hood scopps(is it just me or are hood scoops obsolite since the incarnation of fuel injection?)

oh and watch out for the neon yea they are slow but there are very few guys around here that have neons that are wolvs in sheeps clothing
yea the bought an srt4 and slapped the hood and front bumper from the neon on their car (yea i'm as embarressed to post this as i was the night one blew the doors off of the del sol)
