So, back in June I get an email from Edward Loh saying that my car is going to be in SCC. YAY!
I get my October issue and there it is, in full, glorious color! YAY!
"Give us a call and we'll send you your Mother's car care stuff!" YAY!
15 phone calls, three emails and three voice mails (all unanswered) later STILL NO STUFF!
OK, it's only about $30 worth of free stuff, right? I've already spent close to that on the phone calls to Cali but for *** sake, if you are going to offer free stuff you'd better give it away.
In reality you probably never had the stuff to give away and figured "who'll ever know?"
Lame, lame, lame.  

i would be a little angry, but just having my car in scc would be gift enough.  

Yeah, that was part of my point. If they are not going to give the stuff away, don't offer it. If they offer it, they'd better give the stuff away.
