SCC should verify this but Honda not bringing the CTR to the US is not a big deal in my book. The motor and drivetrain are nearly the same as the Si. But nore importantly, the Si has the better suspension. I hear the CTR has a rear beam axle.

Yes, the CTR does use a beam axle in back, while the Si uses independant suspension all-around. The main difference besides that is the body: hatchback vs. coupe. The Honda hatch lovers and "JDM/EDM grass is always greener" types aren't happy, but that's about it.

sounds like we are not missing anything. It was nice to day dream that the type r would be a turbo though, I think most of us ultimately knew that it would be na. looks like scc are too much of idealists. I'm still waiting for the DC5.

I agree...we're not missing anything...if this happened back in 1999, yeah, it would have been cool. Not now though...drive an EVO/WRX and you'll know. Everyone's moving along...
