I've been looking all over the place, and I can't find SCC's 100 Greatest Car list...  Can anyone post it or at least tell me which issue it's in?  Thanks much.

That's some list...be cooler to break it down into eras...maybe forced induction vs. NA as well.  Can't wait to test out the Evo X though.

Wow, is this a copy/paste or did you go through the trouble of writing the list yourself? Either way, thanks for digging that up for us.

BTW, SCC.....

WTF- the Mini Cooper, a VW GTI, the Integra Type R, and a *** CIVIC all ranked above the Twin Turbo 300ZX?? You guys need to stop hanging out with those clowns at Super Street.

i'd rank the Mini cooper over the 300ZX jusr for sheer driving fun, and class factor, but i agree about the GTI, and the civic. The type R's debatable, that's a distinguished powerplant.

i'd still have a 300ZX over a type R though

Lol...'cause nothing exudes class like an $18,000 economy car?? Don't understand that one, especially when you compare it to a refined and understated but attractive luxo-sports car like the 300ZX.

I don't see any advantages a Type R would have over the Z, either. The Z is much faster and handles as well as a Type R. Much, much more power potential as well.

Wow, Lets just look at the Top 10, Before we do, I own a 1998 Supra Turbo 6spd, that was Custom and Completely built by PowerHouseRacing, With the request that Jarrett do almost all the work.  My goal was to achieve 630RWHP without the large amounts of lag some Supra's have.  First I chose the perfect Turbo,or Turbo's I should say, this kit has the ability to change the Turbo from 5 different Turbo's, I own 3 of them, a GT60DBB that has the Torque curve of a Naturally aspirated V8, although the GT60DBB I now have even with my 3.4L Engine makes 612RWHP, However, This Turbo has almost NO lag, I also own a C5 With Intake Exhaust, etc. (C5 BPU) Along with a 75 shot of Nitrous.  Yet, my 3.4L when the GT60DBB is installed, it beats my C5 off the line every time.  Right Now I have the GT67DBB Installed, There is some lag, but, there's an extra 75RWHP.  My Third Turbo is a Drag Racing Turbo, it doesn't have excessive lag, but it has more than stock and much more than my other 2 Turbo's, but, i'm Sure it can Reach 900RWHP, however, I wouldn't use this Turbo on the street, even though it's smaller than a T88 and most Aftermarket Turbo Supra's have T88's, but, they have WAY too much lag for me.  This last year at TX2K7, One Guy put up 1,441RWHP with his supra on the Dyno and it's not a trailer queen, it's registered and Tagged for public road use.  I was the first to receive the new GT60DBB and GT67.  They are by far the best 2 Turbo's I've ever seen on a Supra.  I may not make 1000RWHP, but, I don't have to put up with lag or responsiveness issues, I can launch on a regular road with regular Tires without having to rev to 4500and dropping the clutch.  Anyway, about the TOP 10.

10: 1985-87 Toyota Corolla GT-S (AE86/86/hachi roku)
9: 1968-73 Datsun 510
8: 1962-03 Austin Mini Cooper
7: 1990-94 Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32)
6: 1994-98 Toyota Supra Turbo
5: 1975-85 Volkswagon GTI
4: 1997-01 Acura Integra Type-R
3: 2002-present Subaru WRX
2: 1992-95 Civic
1: Present Evo

Evo's are great, but there's no way it should be in the number one Spot, Their number one when it comes to rally racing.  My friend Brians New EVO is great, he's got some great mods and it's fun as *** to drive but I can think of 10 cars on this list that are better than the present evo. Besides Rally, The Present EVO is a great car, but, Their are FAR greater Cars.  the 92-95 Civic????  This baffles me, Since I'm a supra owner, I'm not gonna use it as an analogy, I'll use the skyline.  The R32, R33 and R34 skyline isn't as good as the 92-95 Civic? I will use the supra, it's also better than a 98 Supra Twin Turbo? Better than the 300ZXTT?The Skyline, 98SupraTT6spd,300ZXTT are all Sports Cars.  Every Supra owner knows that for as low as 700Dollars your Supra Can have an extra 125RWHP, and Run Solid 12's all day, Some BPU Supra's run 11's, for example Angel Roble's BPU Supra which ran 11's without the aid of N20. Just by opening up the intake, exhaust and Turning up the boost. Not to mention it has an engine that can handle 1000HP, for example Craig Paisley, who never even took the heads off his Supra's engine and Ran LOW 8's 100's of times without blowing the engine. The skyline has also done some pretty amazing things, so has the NSX.  I'm not saying Supra's are better than every car, although, their my personal favorite, but that's just an opinion.  which is why I'm giving several examples of cars who should have a much better rating. I'm afraid that one of the reason the present EVO is number one is because it's in production and Mitsubishi Loves to give them EVO's, and I have seen evidence, although purely circumstantial of SCC getting "Payola" from Mitsubishi. Look at the position of the wrx STI, I've driven both cars and I think the Subaru is better, in my opinion, the wrx and the EVO are direct enemies, which at the very least the evo is only slightly better, but according to this top 100 it makes it sound like the EVO isn't even comparable to the STI, which is SO not true, the STI is a BADASS car.  I don't even need to write the rest of it out, but this list is just straight up Crazy. Anybody that have driven a few of these cars already knows all this, Period, Are we sure that this list came from SCC and not Import Tuner????
